KnowTheChain Project Director, Business & Human Rights Resource Centre

Áine joined the Business & Human Rights Resource Centre in 2022.  She is the Project Director for the KnowTheChain benchmarks and leads the Resource Centre’s investor strategy. She focuses on overseeing the benchmark research, analysis, and communication, as well as the engagement with the 180 benchmarked companies and engages with global investors on forced labor topics.

Prior to this she led investor engagement on the Workforce Disclosure Initiative (WDI) at the UK based responsible investment charity, ShareAction. While there, she was seconded to the Project Task Force on the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (EFRAG), developing the draft workforce standards for the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).

She has an M.A in International Political Economy and has worked for the last five years in finance and responsible investment.
